System & Installation

What are the PC requirements? Ordinary home/office PC works for up to 4 devices. Scale up: i3 for 10, i5 for 30, i7 for 50+. 8GB+ RAM, USB 3.0.

What OS is supported? Windows XP/7/8/10/11 (32 and 64-bit).

What Android versions work? Android 6.x through 16. No iOS or Windows Phone support.

Does it need root? No. TC works without root. Rooted phones also work normally.

Can TC connect to emulators? TC has not made specific compatibility adaptations for simulators. Some emulators may not connect. LDPlayer, BlueStacks, and MuMuPlayer have setup guides available.

Connection

What connection methods are supported?

1. USB connection
2. TCP connection (same LAN only)

How many devices can I control? Lite: 2-4 devices (free). Professional: 4 devices ($9.90/yr). Multi-device add-ons: up to 100 devices.

Why isn't my phone detected? Check: USB debugging enabled, driver installed, no ADB conflicts with other tools.

How do I fix ADB conflicts? Run adb devices in command line. If errors appear, close other Android tools, find and keep only TC's adb.exe, delete duplicates.

How do I connect via TCP? Connect once via USB first, note the IP from the mobile app, then enter the IP in TC's connection dialog.

Device Control

Some apps are unclickable? Switch calibration mode in settings and try input modes 2, 3, or 4.

Physical buttons don't work? Switch calibration mode. Enable security settings or simulate clicking in developer options.

Xiaomi/Redmi can see screen but can't control? Enable Settings > Developer Options > USB Debug (Security Settings).

Frame rate is slow? Set PC Acceleration in device settings. Try different turbo modes. Changes take effect after reconnection.

Input Method

Sigma input method doesn't work? Click Settings, complete setup steps. If still broken, uninstall mobile app and reconnect. For OPPO: enable Sigma in Settings > Input Method Settings first.

Can't copy/paste text? Must use Sigma input method for copy/paste/delete operations.

Want to use phone's own keyboard? Uncheck "Enable Sigma keyboard" in TC main window settings.

Scripting

What are absolute vs relative coordinates?

• Relative: (0,0) = top-left, (1,1) = bottom-right. Values 0-1 as ratios
• Absolute: Native Android coordinate values

Image verification failed after script ran? Scripts use coordinate recording. If the screen layout differs between recording and playback, verification fails.

Accessibility scripts not working? TC's AAI uses Android accessibility service, causing conflicts. Disable TC's AAI feature in settings.

Licensing

How do I get an Activation Code? Start TC > click Upgrade > select item > pay > code sent via email.

How to migrate license to new computer? Open TC on new machine > About > Upgrade > enter Activation Code. Old PC reverts to Lite. Up to 10 migrations per year.

"ID does not exist" when entering code? Code was already used. Email it to support@sigma-rt.com for a new one.
